Grace Millsaps

Grace Millsaps has been studying and performing with The New Movement since October of 2011. She graduated from the theater’s core curriculum in November of 2012. Grace has preformed stand-up comedy at Grandma’s Basement in Boston, MA. She currently performs with the TNM house troupe The Literary Cannon, an Armando-style group that uses passages of text as inspiration for improvising scenes.

Grace co-authored the award-winning local children’s book What the Sleepy Animals Do at the Audubon Zoo. Born in a small town in rural Georgia, she lived in Atlanta, China, Italy, Turkey, and Boston before making New Orleans her home. She currently lives in the Lower Garden District with her husband Ryan and her two cats, Chippy and Jolene.
