There's more said on stage than dialogue. This workshop will focus on using both those unspoken endowments (words, motivations, history, among others) and emotion to bring more wonder and depth to your improv and sketch. Voted Best Class by Students of Improv Wins Conference & Festival in 2014.

Instructor Bio:

Mike Spara is a co-founder of The New Movement New Orleans. He has performed improvisation and sketch comedy locally and around the country professionally for the past seven years. His teams include Stupid Time Machine, Super Computer and others, and his solo wordless sketch comedy project is Conversations with Body Language. In 2017 Mike was awarded Big Easy Best Supporting Actor in a Play and chosen the Best Solo Performance Off Off Broadway. Teaching and performing improvisation and sketch comedy form the core of his artistic approach, which he now takes to NYC while getting an MFA from The New School.
