TNM Class Payment/Refund Policies
To reserve your spot in class, a deposit of at least half of your tuition is due before the first day of class. The remainder of your tuition is due by the third class of your current level. If you need to discuss a payment plan, email the Conservatory Director for your city (ATX – TNMATX@gmail.com, Nola – TNMNola@gmail.com), and they will consider your request on a case-by-case basis. We offer a variety of fun internships for half-price tuition, so please inquire at the email addresses above if interested.
We accept payment for classes via http://paypal.me/thenewmovement, Venmo (username: TheNewMovement), or you can leave checks/cash with your teacher @ TNM.
All refund requests must be in writing. Students seeking a refund or a partial refund, should send an e-mail to the Conservatory Director as soon as they have decided to withdraw. Each refund request will be processed within 30 days of such request. Refunds may be issued for courses upon student withdrawal under the following provisions:
8 Week Courses
– A full refund of deposit/tuition (minus a $25 processing fee) is available only when withdrawal notification is received by noon (12pm) three business days prior to the start of the course. For example, refund requests for a Monday night class must be received by Wednesday at noon. Requests for Saturday or Sunday classes would have to be received by Tuesday at noon.
– For withdrawal after the start of the first day of class, students will receive a refund of their tuition/deposit minus a $25 processing fee and a $50 administration fee.
– For withdrawal after the start of the second day of class, students will receive 25% of their tuition/deposit.
– After the third day of class, there are NO refunds of their tuition/deposit.
Because of their lower price, most workshops are non-refundable, but we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
